Last 10 Map Images Added
Posted by Moonlight (Web Manager) on Saturday, June 2 2001 @ 8:26 AM.
I added a “Last 10 Map Images” on the Main Page of the Section with the “Filename” and the “Uploader” Name.

If you have some nice Map Images that you would like to share, you just have to go to the proper Map, then click on the Add link near the Map Images area.

Need Comments

I am also looking for Comments or Suggestions how to improve this section.

Here are some of the things I may do :

1a) With the huge number of NPCs, I plan to make an alphabetical listing with only 1 letter showing at a time (ie: all NPCs starting by A) — OR —

1b) To make an independent page for Neutral, Hostile and Party Companions, instead of all three on 1 page like it is now.

2) To implement a “Search” feature to find faster a string in the Description, or Map Solution.

3) To add a “Last 10 Map Images” display on the main page of the Section, on the right side of where the “Last 10 Comments” are displayed.

If you think any of the above features to be good, or you have some great ideas, please send an E-Mail.

If you would like to contribute to the Baldur’s Gate II section, here is what you can do :

1- If you want to be part of the team and help to add new content to the section, send an E-Mail to fhutow@togrc.com and please tell what you would like to do.

2- If you find any errors or have any comments, please use the “Add Comment” option that appears at the bottom of most pages.

The Expansion Pack is coming out soon, and I do plan to add the support for the Expansion Pack (Throne of Baal). Content of the the Expansion Pack will be clearly marked as an Expansion item. More information will be posted once I receive the Expansion Pack.

And if you have any comments about this section or ideas, send an E-Mail.

Print Detail – Feature Added
Posted by Moonlight (Web Manager) on Saturday, October 7 2000 @ 3:13 PM.
You can now Print the Detail of an Item, NPC or Map. This page is formatted to be printed without any extra such as the ads, menu on the left and instead of showing a ‘selection list’ for related informations, it is displayed as 1 entry per line. Also, when printing out a Map Detail, it will be displaying the Solution at the bottom of the page.

I fixed the error where it was not displaying the Maps Listing. The Maps Listing should be working fine now. Also, there is now 300 different items, 13 maps and 75 NPCs in the database.

Welcome to the Baldur’s Gate 2 section!

Welcome to the opening of the Baldur’s Gate 2: Shadows of Amn section on The On-Line Games Resource Center. In this section, you will be able to find directories of items, maps and NPCs that you will find in the game, with complete information.

Currently, only a portion of the Tutorial has been added to the database, but more and more information will be added to the system as I advanced through the game.

In each of the directories, you can find references to other directories, such as: Items (who have it /what maps have the item), NPC (on what map can I find the NPC/what does he/she carry) and Maps (what NPC is on the map/what items can be found).

In addition to the above, you can find complete information about an item, maps and NPC. Also, in the Maps Section, you can find graphical representation of the map.

You can also find a “Map Solution” to each map, but by default, it is not displayed to not spoil any information.

If you have an Account (it takes only a few minutes to create and it is free), you have access to the following features :
– You can write comments on any of the entry in the database
– You can upload new maps graphics

In the next few weeks, new features will be added such as : Search Item/NPC, Print Page (will display a text only page for printing).

Finally, if you are interested of being part of the Staff for this section
